Milos Raonic signs up to play Antwerp

Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic has signed up to play at the European Open in Antwerp, per Michal Samulski.

The Canadian, an eight-time ATP champion, is set to make back-to-back appearances at the Belgian ATP 250 event.

World No. 22 Raonic debuted at the Antwerp event last year but failed to impress in his first appearance at the tournament.

2016 Wimbledon runner-up had a first round bye in Antwerp before he suffered a surprise round-of-16 loss against fellow compatriot Vasek Pospisil.

However, Raonic won't have an easy job of winning it all in Antwerp as Andy Murray, David Goffin, Gael Monfils, Guido Pella and Diego Schwartzman are also expected to play at the tournament.

The European Open in Antwerp will take place from October 14-20.
