Roger Federer doesn't want to spend ton of time looking at losses -Annacone

Paul Annacone knows how it feels to go through losses for Roger Federer. The American worked as Swiss player's coach from 2010 to 2013 and during that time Federer suffered multiple back injuries. Annacone said: “It was a low back [injury] earlier on [in his career] and I guess as you get older the entire back starts to hurt. I can relate to that. I was sitting in the stands and saw both of those match points in 2010 and 2011. Novak [Djokovic] did a great job there and did it again at Wimbledon this year. But what is amazing about Roger, I remember talking to him after them matches, he said, ‘Look I can go through some of my majors that I won and I can tell you a few things that happened’. I was fortunate enough to sit in the coaches box when he won Wimbledon in 2012.

"Early on in that tournament, his back went out. For a day and a half, he was very compromised and hung around, found a way to keep playing, got healthy and ended up winning the tournament. He looks at good fortune and bad fortune and kind of has that all-encompassing view of taking the good with the bad. Look one of the things that are really admirable is he doesn’t really want to spend a lot of time at it. His pragmatism about winning and losing is pretty impressive. Look, let’s give credit to Grigor Dimitrov he played a great match. He hadn’t beaten Roger before and had really struggled against him. Regardless of any health injuries when your opponents out there you have got to play."
