Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal will not be around forever - Henman

In an interview to Express, the former world No. 4 Tim Henman commented on the Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal dominance. The Brit said: "They're not going to be around forever. It's been one of the greatest rivalries in the history of our sport and it's just such a great contrast. So to see them play again in the semi-finals of Wimbledon, having played in the semi-finals of the French in terrible conditions, it would be great to see them play out on Centre Court. They've had thrillers wherever they play so lets hope that they're both playing well at the same time. That's when you see the best match-up and given the fact one's right handed, one's left handed, one's got a two-handed backhand, one's got a one-handed back hand; there are so many of those contrasting styles."

Meanwhile the Halle Open chief Ralf Weber recalled when they first offered Federer a wild card in 2000: "We were looking for younger players to compete in our tournament because we always try to bring them. We brought Federer, he was very talented. It was the beginning of his career in Halle. That year he was 19 and he came with his own car from Switzerland to Halle. He felt very comfortable." Federer won his tenth title in the German event defeating the Belgian David Goffin in a straight-set championship clash.
