Alexander Zverev reveals what he does off the court

Speaking with El Tiempo, Alexander Zverev revealed what he does off the court. The 22-year-old Hamburg native said: "I love cars, sports and hanging out with my friends, and playing Fifa at PlayStation. My favorite sport, besides tennis, is clearly basketball. I am a big fan of Miami Heat. I watch all the NBA matches, I pay a subscription in order not to miss those matches."

Analyzing how his year went, Zverev added: "I need to accept that the beginning of the season was not easy. I had personal issues, I think they affected my tennis a bit. When I headed into a court to practice I was feeling very well, but when it came the moment to play an official match the things did not go the way I wanted to. I feel I am playing the best matches of this season, beating important players and showing one more time that if I am doing well, I can compete against any player. I am heading in the right direction but obviously, I still have to improve on some aspects to be at my best level again."

Zverev lost to the eventual finalist Denis Shapovalov in the Paris Masters third round.
