Raven Klaasen e Michael Venus react to saving two MPs in London

South-African Raven Klaasen claimed he didn't even realize at first that he and partner Michael Venus had saved two match points in their semifinal clash at the ATP Finals.

Klaasen and Venus were on the brink of a loss but refused to quit and ultimately pulled off a comeback win against Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah 6-7 (4) 7-6 (10) 10-6. 

The year-end No. 1 doubles team from Colombia blew a 4-0 second set tie-break lead and two match points.

"In the heat of the moment, you try and win the points,” Klaasen told the ATP Tour. “I didn’t realise we’d saved two match points. It’s nice to finally get the win as we’ve had some tough matches against these guys."

Klaasen and Venus realized their fourth set point in the second set tie-break to force a decider -- which they dominated to complete a comeback win.

"When I missed the volley early in the second set tie-break, it was frustrating to get down 0/4. We worked really hard to stay in the set and take care of our service games, so to be down in the tie-break was mentally tough. We came together and trusted ourselves."
