Ricardo Piatti: Maria Sharapova is healthy and ready to attack again

Coach Ricardo Piatti will be helping simultaneously next year former world No. 1 Maria Sharapova and rising Italian star Jannik Sinner. 

"Next year, I will help both Maria and Sinner. We've been working a lot over the last few months and Maria has now healed her injuries. She's fine and she's ready to attack again. We focused mainly on the technique to rejoin the puzzle, including through video analysis," Piatti said, per SpacePova/Twitter. 

Sharapova, a five-time Grand Slam champion, will be hoping to bounce back next year from an Injury-plagued 2019 season. 

The 32-year-old Russian has played only eight tournaments this season, with the last being the US Open. 

On the other side, world No. 95 Sinner will be smoking to continue his rise and improvement next season. 

After making his first semifinal at last month's ATP Antwerp, the Italian won it all at last week's Next Gen ATP Finals.

The 18-year-old has emerged as one of the most promising and talented players on the Tour and all eyes will be on how will his further development look.
