Rod Laver sends special message to Rafael Nadal on achieving year-end No. 1

Through his official Twitter account the Australian legend Rod Laver congratulated Rafael Nadal for ending the season as a world No. 1. Laver wrote: "Heartfelt congratulations @RafaelNadal on attaining the year-end No.1 ranking. You’ve had an incredible year and still more to come young fella! Rocket."

Sampras' one record will survive time."

Daniela Hantuchova believes the Big Three pushed each other: "I don't think Roger would still be playing at this level if it's not for Rafa and Novak and the other way around. So we've been very spoilt and blessed to have all three still playing at their best."
