There is a chance Bautista Agut will replace Nadal in London - Davenport

Speaking on Tennis Channel, former world No. 1 Lindsay Davenport commented on Rafael Nadal's Paris Masters withdrawal. Davenport said: "Huge disappointment, he was looking forward to finally being able to play in Paris and London healthy and he took some time off to make sure that happened. Really unfortunate. ATP Finals draw will be made on Tuesday, that might bit a bit early, I do not think Rafa is gonna know by Tuesday, we might hear later in the week. But obviously some chances that Roberto Bautista Agut might see some action in London."

On Novak Djokovic's win over Grigor Dimitrov, Davenport added: "He's gotten better each match he has gotten under his belt and he played very well today against Grigor who was playing a fantastic first set. Novak did not face a break point, he is managing his service games very well, he is great indoors, he loves these conditions, he loves playing in Paris and London and he's really set himself up nicely to try to finish the year as No. 1.

Former world No. 5 Jimmy Arias spoke about Dimitrov's improvements: "The problem with Grigor is that you never know when he's gonna come back and up and down he's gone throughout his entire career. He has looked good today. When he looks like that, you feel like he is top ten perennial, but there is other times when all of a sudden the confidence goes away. Let's hope that he can keep that confidence that he has taken from the end of this year into next year. There is a little bit of a break now."
