Alexander Zverev wants to beat Roger Federer even in exhibition matches

In an interview to El Tiempo Alexander Zverev spoke about what will mean for him to play against Roger Federer in Bogota, Colombia, later this month. The 22-year-old Hamburg native said: "Roger told me about how passionate and noisy are the Colombian fans so I am emotional to experience it first hand. When I am on the other side of the net I always try to win without caring if I am facing Roger Federer although I respect him a lot. I prepare myself mentally for a battle, because I know that this is what it takes to be a champion like Roger."

Asked what motivated him to visit Colombia, Zverev replied: "I was invited to join Roger during this South American tour and I thought it could have been a unique chance in life to do something like this.
