Toni shares the difference between Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and the others

In an interview to RTS Toni Nadal talked about the Big Three dominance. He said: "I spoke many times about the rivalry between Djokovic, Federer and Rafael. It's the most meaningful rivalry in our sport. When in 2017 they asked me about his rivalry with Federer, I told them, Wait, there is another guy who is as good as the other two, Novak Djokovic. For me Novak is an amazing player and beating him has always been tough for us. This rivalry tells a lot of things: first of all, the three are very good, and second thing, they love the sport and they are consistently willing to improve.

The biggest differences between the three and the other players is that Roger won 20 Grand Slams and he still wants to try more. Djokovic, who has been the best for many years, won 16 Majors and he is still looking forward to win the title and wants to be world number one. Same thing for Rafael, who was 19 Majors and wants even more. That's the difference. I remember that when Pete Sampras won his 14th Grand Slam title, we thought it would be impossible to reach it. And the following generation features three players having more than Sampras."

On matches ending at 4:00 AM in Davis Cup, Toni added: "I know it's tough having so many teams over six days. Next year the tournament may last ten days without playing so late. It could be a very good event and I am sure every top player will compete in it."
