USA's Taylor Fritz excited about his upcoming Davis Cup debut

Rising American star Taylor Fritz is excited about making his Davis Cup debut at the inaugural Davis Cup Finals. 

The Americans will be without Miami Masters champion John Isner but several promising players will be ready and motivated to represent well the United States in Madrid next week. 

Besides Fritz, a place in the American team for the Davis Cup Finals have also found Reilly Opelka, Frances Tiafoe, Jack Sock and Sam Querrey. 

"My first Davis Cup, it's definitely cool to be doing it with Frances and Reilly – two of my best friends, two young guys,” Fritz told the Davis Cup Finals. “It's great to have this young group that's coming in the team and that's going to be important to the team. I'm just excited to get this thing started because it's going to be like this for a long time."

The United States have been drawn with Italy and Canada in Group F. 

The United States, a record 32-time Davis Cup champion, haven't won it all in the competition since 2007.
