Roger Federer, Nadal, Djokovic are the GOATs but Tsitsipas has no limits - Coach
In an interview to RealNews the coach Patrick Mouratoglou spoke highly of Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Frenchman said: "Stefanos has no limits. He has enough quality to reach the top but it's still a long way to go. He has the three biggest players ever (Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic) in front of himself, but I think he is capable of everything. He is extremely focused, he believes in himself and he is surrounded by good people like his father Apostolos who does a good job with him. I discovered Stefanos in 2015. I heard there was a good young Greek player. I saw a match on YouTube and despite the low quality of the video he looked like a nice player. We have been working together since he was 16 years old and I am happy to help him develope his talent."
On Tsitsipas's compatriot Maria Sakkari, Mouratoglou added: "I know her. I appreciate her a lot on a personal level. She is also a great player and a fighter. Greek is lucky to have two athletes like Maria and Stefanos."
About the Greek tennis, Mouratoglou added: "I think what has been happening for 20 years is slowly taking Greece to become a tennis country. Marcos Baghdatis is a Cypriot but he has a Greek DNA, Stefanos is very high ranked and his personality will inspire many younger people because he has a lot of charisma.
