Jeremy Chardy: Bjorn Borg is one of the most humble e discrete people I have met

French tennis player Jeremy Chardy, who is the Tournament Director of this week's ATP Challenger in Pau, France, says 11 time Grand Slam champion Bjorn Borg is one of the most humble and discreet people he has met, according to LaRepubliqueDesPyrenee.

Borg is in Pau, France this week to watch his son Leo Borg play the Challenger event there. The 16 year old Leo takes on former World No. 10 Ernests Gulbis in the first round of the Challenger event.

Chardy commented, “Björn is extremely kind, always very attentive to others, but he is also one of the most humble and discreet people I have met. A person so simple with such an exceptional career, it is striking."

Leo Borg made his ATP Challenger debut last week  and lost his first professional match, losing in straight sets to qualifier Tseng Chun-hsin of Taiwan.

Borg, ranked No. 98 in the world junior rankings, received a wild card for both last week and this week's events.

The 63-year-old Borg won 64 ATP tournaments during his career including six French Open and five Wimbledon titles between 1974 and 1981 and is considered to be one of the greatest players of all time.
