Milos Raonic: I'm healthy, I think I can play better than ever before
World No. 32 Milos Raonic was happy with the way things went down for him at Melbourne Park.
Raonic, a 2016 Australian Open semifinalist, made the quarterfinal at Melbourne Park before losing to eventual champion Novak Djokovic.
The Canadian claimed straight set wins over Lorenzo Giustino, Cristian Garin, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Marin Cilic before he suffered a defeat in three sets to Djokovic.
"I think this is the first time in the past six years that I have finished the Australian Open without injury. I was happy with the way my game progressed and improved more and more throughout the tournament," Raonic said, per We Love Tennis France.
Raonic made his maiden Grand Slam final at Wimbledon in 2016 and achieved a career-high ranking of No. 3 in the world.
After a great 2016 campaign, the Canadian was struggling to stay healthy for a longer period and it affected his results.
"I feel like my tennis is there and I need to stay healthy and give myself the chance to play regularly. I think I can play even better than before," Raonic claimed.
