Novak Djokovic on sharing locker room with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic reveals he Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer "mostly avoid each other" in the locker rooms but doesn't consider it a big deal.

Djokovic, who captured his record eighth Australian Open title this year, returned to competitive action this week in Dubai for the first time since winning it all at Melbourne Park.

En route to winning this year's Australian Open, Djokovic beat record 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in the semifinal.

The projected Australian Open final between Djokovic and Nadal fell apart after the Spaniard lost to Austrian Dominic Thiem in the quarterfinal.

When asked by a journalist what it was like to share a locker room with Nadal and Federer in the big matches, Djokovic said, per EssentiallySports: "We mostly avoid each other (breaks into laughter). Locker rooms aren’t that big everywhere, so we sometimes hide behind our lockers or something like that.

"Sometimes we take shower cabins next to each other, but we don’t look (chuckling). It’s a bit uncomfortable, we are in awkward situations there with our team, huge emotions are on the line.
