Kyrgios to Rubin: You do great work.. are a great player. Stop reading into this shit

While American tennis player Noah Rubin was honoured to be included in the list compiled by the French daily L'Equipe as one of the 20 most influential people in tennis - Australian Nick Kyrgios was not too happy about Rubin's reaction - but not for the reason one might think so.

Kyrgios responded to Rubin's tweet on the same, saying "Why would you not feel worthy regardless of making this list or not? You do great work. You are a great tennis player. Stop reading into this shit"

The Australian is know to be fairly vocal about his views on various topics and about how he has struggled with his own personal issues and dealing with playing in the spotlight in recent years which have impacted his on-court performances.

Rubin, a former Wimbledon junior champion, and now ranked in the Top 250 in the world rankings - is responsible for the Behind the Racquet series - a platform where tennis players are able to share their own struggles on and off the court.

Rubin was named along side Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Billie Jean King, Andy Murray as well as tennis administrators such as Craig Tiley, Sally Bolton, Andrea Gaudenzi and Steve Simon in the list which was released last week.
