Rafael Nadal promotes adequate skin protection during skin cancer awareness month

World No. 2 Rafael Nadal is helping promote Skin Cancer Awareness Month (which is May) in association with Cantabria Labs.

Nadal is a brand ambassador for Cantabria Labs and he has been promoting their Heliocare range of products to help prevent skin diseases and promote proper sun protection.

The Spaniard, who could return to the tennis courts next week in Spain to resume training, posted an update on his social media account, asking his fans to wear adequate sun protection while stepping out in the coming days.

With some relaxations being allowed in certain regions in Spain and people are expected to get back out while maintaining social distancing guidelines, Nadal asked his fans to be more careful while stepping out in their area.

"We are about to go out more frequently! Be careful with many things, we already know ... also with the sun 🌞 ☀️ 😎 "

May has been chosen as Skin Cancer Awareness Month with the hope of increasing understanding of its prevalence, the importance of skin checks and early detection, treatment options, and more.
