Serena Williams’ Alexis Ohanian loves to see that TikTok users move to Byte

Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, enjoys the fact that many TikTok-ers start to migrate to Byte, a video sharing platform created by Dom Hofmann, the former co-founder of Vine. Byte was launched in January 2020 and it looks like a capable competitor to TikTok, which already has over 1 billion users – Byte just passed 500k users.

Alexis Ohanian showed his support for the fresh American platform on one of his Instagram Stories where he displayed a tweet he liked. The tweet sounds like this: “TikTok’s going to be banned, alt-Tiktok-ers are moving to Byte, made by the Vine creators. Hurry up, plus swipe up while the usernames are still good.”

Ohanian commented on his Instagram story. “Love to see the shift to Byte”.

Regarding Serena Williams’ preferences, we don’t know whether she will make the transition from TikTok to Byte. Until further action, the American tennis legend enjoys a following of over 39.000 users on TikTok. However, she has only posted 10 videos so far.

One of Serena Williams' famous TikTok videos is the one she took after she decided to switch things up in the kitchen and cook a meal wearing a Snow White dress. However, her costume didn’t fit her in the back. “Hello, I’m back! I’m going to stick this in the microwave for two minutes. Speaking of backs, my dress doesn't fit… in the back!” Williams sings in the video.
