Dusan Lajovic details process player goes through upon arriving to US Open bubble

Serbian tennis star Dusan Lajovic has revealed the process a player goes through upon arriving to the bubble at the US Open.
Lajovic, ranked at a career-high ranking of No. 23 in the world, is set to play the Cincinnati Masters and US Open -- both tournaments will be staged in New York, in a bubble set up by the USTA.
"When we arrived, we were tested at 7.30 pm, the next morning at 10 am the results arrived, and until then there is no way out of the room. When the results arrive, if you are negative, you go down for accreditation and then you can go anywhere with it. Every day, a questionnaire is filled out to see if you feel any symptoms, temperature is measured, etc," Lajovic told Sport Klub.
Lajovic's reaction has been a positive oneLajovic, 30, is set to make his sixth main draw appearance at the US Open.
The 30-year-old's best result at the US Open came in 2013, when he made the third round before losing to John Isner.
"It's weird, now it's weird to fly to New York, it's all kind of 'wow'. We will see how it will be without the audience, it will only be bizarre. The tennis players are satisfied and have positive reactions to how it is organized, the protocol is followed, nothing is missing, they tried to make us feel as normal as possible. We have to wear a mask all the time, except when we train and eat and drink," Lajovic added.
Lajovic returned to action in June at the Adria Tour event in Belgrade, where he didn't claim a win in each of his three matches played.
The Serb then played two matches at the Eastern European Championships, where he lost both of his matches played.
"I have been preparing for a month in Spain, but now no one can claim what form it is in, after a few months without a competitive rhythm - exhibitions are never at the same level. For all this, it will be the beginning of the season, only with a longer period of preparation, I hope there will be no major injuries because we are starting with two strong tournaments and a Slam on three won sets. Personally, I feel ready. By the way, when we come to the US Open, we already feel tired, now we are eager for tennis and that is good," Lajovic said.
