'Roger Federer won't lose his artistry with the racket', says top analyst

Roger Federer and Robert De Niro are two names with incredible talent and success. While one has a cabinet full of trophies, the other has a host of awards. They recently joined forces to promote tourism in Switzerland and took the world by storm. It's fair to say that no one would have imagined the Swiss teacher and the Godfather sharing the screen. In a recent interview, Livio Dainese, Co-CEO and Creative Director of Wirz, spoke about this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Roger Federer and Robert de Niro's work ethic impressed Livio For starters, Dainese revealed their first impression of 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer. In essence, he reiterated why the Swiss master is loved and followed around the world. “Roger Federer is exactly the down-to-earth guy you would expect. Just a good person who is also incredibly talented and successful, ”said the Creative Director. Additionally, Dainese explained that while Federer is welcoming and warm, the veteran actor is reserved. Also, he felt that the famous Taxi Driver actor had a slight edge for him. "Robert De Niro is quite reserved, but he has a great portion of rogue," said Dainese. Although advertising isn't his first profession, Roger and Bob impressed Wirz's boss with his work ethic. Livio said: “I was impressed by Roger's performance and his desire to try things. And, on the other hand, Robert De Niro, who was already very good in the first take, but then improved again from take to take. Impressive." Since the announcement ends with a question mark, it could become more later. But for now, there is no such confirmation on this. Federer's preparations for the 2021 French Open Federer will play his second tournament of 2021 in home at the ATP 250 Geneva Open.

Courier discusses Roger Federer's chance

Against that background, Tennis Channel recently invited four-time Major winner Jim Courier and 2003 US Open champion Andy Roddick to discuss Roger Federer's prospects in the clay season. The panel host Steve Weissman first cited the words of Federer's long-time coach Severin Luthi, who believes that his ward is still lagging in terms of match fitness. "If you're a Roger Federer fan, which most of us are, fitness is going to be the biggest factor for him going forward because he won't lose his artistry with the racket," Jim Courier said. "He just might not be in position to hit many great shots if his fitness isn't there." The American also surmised that Federer was playing clay to test whether his body could make a transition from clay to grass without any setbacks. "All of this clay is just a preamble to the main course, which is the grasscourt season," Courier said. "That's what he's trying to get ready for Andy, I don't know if he's that concerned about results much as how does his body come out of clay and into the grass."
