Federer will cheer for his team from Switzerland. And speaking of Switzerland, the Swiss Maestro told what a typical day is like in his country. He said: "No two days are the same, that is clear. We are spontaneous and do what other families do.

Fortunately, it's easy in Switzerland! For example, I went to the forest with my children and went to the park the day before. Or we go to the playground. It is important to me that we are outdoors a lot and in nature and also enjoy the peace and quiet a little."

Before retiring at the Olympics, Federer, at the beginning of the season, also skipped the Australian Open, in which he had always taken part since the year of his first appearance, returns to the ATP 250 in Doha, after 14 months of hiatus. At Roland Garros, credited with the eighth seed, he eliminated Istomin in three sets and Cilic and Koepfer in four, gaining access to the second round against Berrettini, from whom, however, he retired in order not to tire his knee too much after the long stop and be able to best present on grass. However, even in Halle and Wimbledon, as we all know by now, things went badly. Then came the withdrawal from Tokyo.
