Nick Kyrgios absolutely unloads on umpire after controversial call

Former world No. 13 Nick Kyrgios unloaded on chair umpire during his Toronto Masters opener on Monday night.

Kyrgios, now ranked at No. 80 in the world, clashed Reilly Opelka in the Toronto first round.

Kyrgios was a few points away from the victory before a controversial moment changed the whole match.

At 4-4 in the second set tie-break, Opelka appeared to touch the net with his racket.

Chair umpire remained silent and Kyrgios lost the point.

Kyrgios then absolutely unloaded on chair umpire.

"What are you watching? I saw his foot touch the net and you're not going to call it," Kyrgios said to the umpire.

"What else could you be watching, bro? I can see his foot touch the net from where I am, and you don't call anything. It's a joke, bro. It cost me the f---ing set. Bulls---."

Kyrgios ended up losing the match

In the end, Opelka recovered from a set down to beat Kyrgios 4-6 7-6 (4) 6-4 to progress into the Toronto second round.

Last week, six-time ATP champion Kyrgios revealed he feels weird about his career.

"Honestly, I don't miss it so much anymore," Kyrgios said, when asked did he miss the Tour. "It's good to be back, of course, especially in these tournaments where I'm so comfortable and there are a lot of people, hopefully everything goes well. Instead, the situation is still crazy, every time I play a tournament I feel those vibes that tell me that this could be the last time I am here. In Atlanta I felt the same. It's like I don't know where I am, I feel weird, I feel weird about my career right now. Seeing the fans again is the best part of being back, seeing all their support."

26-year-old Kyrgios has now lost three matches in a row.
