Roger Federer Lands in Perth for Hopman Cup; Visits The Pinnacles

Tennis - World No. 3 Roger Federer landed in Perth for the Hopman Cup on Wednesday and soon thereafter made a visit to The Pinnacles, one of the top tourist attractions in Western Australia. The Swiss superstar won his 20th Grand Slam title in Melbourne last year after winning the Hopman Cup with countrywoman Belinda Bencic and would be hoping for a repeat in 2019 as he partners Bencic once again.
The Pinnacles are limestone formations within Nambung National Park, near the town of Cervantes, Western Australia. The Park receives more than 150,000 visitors every year. Switzerland are placed in Group B, along with Greece, United States and Great Britain. Fans are eagerly looking forward to a clash between Federer and Serena Williams in the mixed doubles when the Swiss meet the U.S. team in the Group stage. Germany, France, Australia and Spain are placed in Group A of the event. The tournament kicks off on December 29th.
