Anna Wintour attended a lot of Roger Federer and Serena Williams's matches at this year's Australian Open. The Vogue Magazine editor-in-chief revealed that the highlight of her life was when she played tennis with Roger Federer after that her daughter arranged everything.

Wintour believes that welcoming gay and lesbian people in today's world. She strongly condemned Margaret Court's criticism over same-gender people who share children. “I find that it is inconsistent with the sport for Margaret Court’s name to be on a stadium that does so much to bring all people together across their differences."

She loves spending time at the Australian Open: "I have never felt so welcomed anywhere in my life. It is ‘no problem’, everyone keeps saying, ‘no problem at all’. Coming from New York, where everybody talks of problems all the time and subsists on problems as they do on coffee and noise ... I find this smooth sailing quite disconcerting.”

Wintour also spoke about the role of fashion in tennis: 'For Simona Halep or Serena Williams fashion can be something that they enjoy. Their self-esteem comes from within, from the sense of strength, sense of the game, sense of themselves.'
