'I liked Tsitsipas's attitude and mentality against Roger Federer' - Becker

Boris Becker believes that two matches have marked the Australian Open men's draw so far: Stefanos Tsitsipas's win over Roger Federer in the fourth round, and Roberto Bautista Agut defeated Andy Murray in the first round. Speaking about this latest match, the six-time Major winner said: 'It was potentially Murray's last match, a lot of people saw it and there was a big interest.'

On the 20-year-old Greek, Becker added: 'I liked his attitude and mentality to keep Roger Federer's level. It was a night match, when you head into the stadium to play a match against Roger you expect the crowd to be against you, but in the end of the match they were supporting Tsitsipas, a notable change that I never rememeber it happened. The longer the match lasted, the better he played, the better he handled Federer's quality. It was something very special.'

Becker was not surprised with Alexander Zverev's straight-set loss to Milos Raonic: 'First of all, Milos Raonic is a world class player, a Wimbledon finalist, Australian Open semifinalist, he is fit again, and Raonic was the best player and he deserved winning.'

Zverev will play the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam and the Mexican Open in Acapulco next month,

On Tsitsipas's win, Serena Williams said: 'I thought it was an incredibly high-level match. I mean, I couldn't keep up. The balls were flying so fast. I just was wildly impressed with Stefanos.'
