'Roger Federer didn't expect Tsitsipas to be so aggressive' - Henri Leconte

How many Grand Slams will Novak Djokovic hold once his tennis career ends? The Serbian player currently holds 14 crowns and he looks to add more to his achievements list. In an interview to Sport Klub, the former player Henri Leconte answered: 'It's not an easy question. Frankly, I do not know... I do not want to say that he will have 20-21-22, but I think that now he is in a different situation, and this is a new Nole. I think he is a different man than how he was, be learned a lot about himself due to that elbow injury and he now became stronger and better. I think he appreciates tennis a lot with Marian Vajda, and much more than before, and with that kind of guide he can be at the highest level for a long time', said Leconte.

The former world No. 5 also believes that, as new players come up, tennis is evolving: 'That's why Novak will have to adapt, rivals will play differently against him. You saw what happened in Tsitsipas-Federer clash, Stefanos was going to the net, attacking, going behind Roger and the Swiss did not expect it. What I am saying is that tennis is slightly changing, due to the surface and the new tennis players that are becoming bigger and stronger. These are great changes and Novak will have to act accordingly', concluded Leconte, who is playing the legends' draw at the Australian Open.
