Serena Williams' coach: 'No one can beat Rafael Nadal. Djokovic neither'

In an interview to Eurosport, the Serena Williams' coach Patrick Mouratoglou commented on the upcoming Australian Open final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. The Frenchman could watch the Spaniard closely as Nadal defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas, who Mouratoglou coaches, in a straight-set semifinal.

Mouratoglou thinks Nadal is the favourite. He said: 'I find it impressive because, first of all, he serves very well and better than before, everyone is convinced of it. Before, we could not play a sof ball against him because we get punished straight forward. As soon as we give him an angle, he hits the banana shot. He plays very quickly without missing. Honestly, if he plays this way, I do not see even Novak beating him.'

On Djokovic, Roy Emerson said: "He’s 31 now and if he keeps himself in shape, like Federer, he’s got another two or three years where he’ll be winning majors. My six – doesn’t look too good. One down with Federer… I’m trying to get Tennis Australia not to invite them back again. I’m pulling for Nadal. He is really firing and playing well, he had some running forehands the other which were remarkable. I’m looking for a great scrap and it’s good to have a final like that."
