The stories Bjorn Borg can tell are surreal, says Roger Federer

Roger Federer shared his admiration for Bjorn Borg. The Swiss player and the Swedish legend coincided in the first two Laver Cup editions in Prague and Chicago, and they are set to repeat the amazing experience again in Geneva this September. "It's surreal, the stories he can tell, and people were laughing that he doesn't say much on the bench," Federer said in an interview to CNN. "But I understand, I think, of all people he knows what it is to be at the top and what it is to stay calm, stay focused and in the moment. So I think the Laver Cup has really produced that for a lot of guys like Zverev, and Rafa, and Novak, to get a glimpse into Bjorn's head, how he would think as a winner and how laid back he is away from the tennis."

Federer also praised the NBA star LeBron James: "Size and strength, maybe, of LeBron James, something like that. Sometimes I wonder, 'Am I getting too small?' because everybody is taller than me slowly on the tour. Back in the day, my size was normal. Nowadays everybody is getting taller and bigger and stronger."

Federer will rejoin with rival Rafael Nadal, who has committed to play the 2019 edition of the Laver Cup. The two players have also been drawn in the same half in the 2019 Australian Open, set to begin on Monday, 19th January. Federer is the defending champion.
