Alexander Zverev, Coric will struggle to lift major trophies - Expert
In an interview to Tennis Circus, the Eurosport commentator Guido Monaco commented on the next generation of players, giving an interesting opinion. Asked who he likes the most, Monaco replied: "In terms of personality Stefanos Tsitsipas, who showed to be able to cope with the most important stages and he also plays great tennis. De Minaur is an example of effort and smartness, but I do not think that his technique will allow him to be at the top. Khachanov is strong physically. Asked if Marco Cecchinato deserves to be higher ranked than Fabio Fognini, Monaco replied: "Fognini started very bad, but I wish it just happened by chance. He made a very big effort in the last two seasons to go up again and he did it thanks to some great results. Now he may have other priorities like his family. Playing less eyeing a major result in a Grand Slam could not be a bad strategy at this point. That's not easy, but that's actually the only thing missing in Fognini's career. Cecchinato keeps surprising and improving. In Buenos Aires he played at the level he delivered at the 2018 French Open, playing great tennis.
