Borna Coric speaks on upcoming Miami clash against Felix Auger-Aliassime

Croatian rising star Borna Coric admits he doesn't know much about his upcoming Miami Masters opponent Felix Auger-Aliassime. 

Coric, seeded at No. 11, and fellow rising star Auger-Aliassime are set to meet in the Miami quarter-final. 

The Croatian came from a set down to beat Australian Nick Kyrgios 4-6 6-3 6-2 in the round-of-16. 

Coric started the match with an early break but Kyrgios recovered as he broke the Croatian twice to win the opener. 

However, Coric kept his focus despite losing the first set as he made the most out of the break he earned in the sixth game of the second set. 

Kyrgios led 2-1 after the opening three games of the third set before the Croatian won five games in a row to clinch the win. 

On the other side, Auger-Aliassime defeated Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili 7-6 (4) 6-4. 

"I haven't watched many of his matches to be honest. I have watched maybe one or two while I was warming up or something. I need to do my homework tonight...it's gonna be very interesting match," Coric said of facing Auger-Aliassime, per John Horn. 

World No. 13 Coric is targeting make it a step further at the Miami Masters this year and make his first semi-final at the tournament. 

The Croatian made the Miami quarter-final last year before he lost to Germany's Alexander Zverev. 

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Auger-Aliassime will be hoping to continue his Miami dream debut and reach his maiden Masters 1000 semi-final.
