The former American player James Blake shared a funny anecdote through his official Twitter account praising the Roger Federer's 100 career-titles. "Just watched Roger Federer win his 100th title and my daughter asked, “How many did you win?” “10” I responded proudly. “How come you only won 10? That’s like none.” Thanks Roger, for making me look bad in front of my kids. Congrats" wrote Blake.
Former player-turned-tennis analyst Brad Gilbert added: "Congratulations to RF2.0 on joining the 100 club titles with (a) tremendous win over E-Z-Pas tonight."
Former world no. 1 and WTA founder Billie Jean King added: "Congratulations, @rogerfederer! What a champion! #RF100"
Roger Federer defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final of the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships on 2nd March 2019. The Swiss won in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 and eventually, avenged his Australian Open fourth-round loss to the Greek player. Tsitsipas, after his good momentum in Dubai, broke into the top-10 for the first time in his career. Federer's win helped him get back into the top-4 of the ATP rankings. This week, both players participated in the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells although Tsitsipas lost in the second round (after receiving a first-round bye) to 18-year-old Felix Auger-Aliassime.
