Novak Djokovic's behaviour in Indian Wells was confusing, says Courier

Speaking on The Tennis Channel the former player Chanda Rubin commented on Novak Djokovic's loss to Philipp Kohlschreiber. Rubin believes that it almost happened by chance and there is no alarms ringing. "It's a little bit of a blip. Novak has had a great start to the year, had a tremendous close to the last year, the last six months. This was not his best effort but do you have some flows and herbs that occur and certainly if it's gonna happen you'd gonna happen it here going into Miami where he has some time to recover and certainly going into the summer swing and the next Major. So I would not say it's too much to be concerned about but certainly something he needs to get geared up about", said the American.

The former Roger Federer's coach Paul Annacone added: "One of the things you have to really remember is that if this turns into four or five blips would be concerned but Novak, just keeps his disposition, keeps his confidence. We saw him lose the first tournament of the year and then win in Australia, so it's going to take a little bit more than one loss to knock them off his rails."

The former world No. 1 Jim Courier concluded: "This was just confusing for me twice yesterday with Novak. First, he comes out and puts in this type of low energy performance. 45 minutes later he goes and wins the doubles match, I just still cannot get my head around it, we still don't have the answers as to what is really going down there."
