Roger Federer is a part of the Rolex family, says Director
Arnaud Boetsch is the Rolex Director for France and he spoke to L'Equipe about the philosophy of the Swiss brand. If you want to promote the French Open, its history, its DNA, you need to put all the actors on court, put them on the image and music. We cannot speak of tennis without a player. It has no sense. Everything is linked to each other. As a long term partner, we want to bring global communication with a clear and real vision of the sport we support and we invest for. We always need to promote the brand image, in order to send messages related to our values. Why are we here, what are we doing? We show what we do, with who and for what reasons", said Boetsch, who also commented on the Rolex partnership with Federer: "We are extremely close. Roger is a friend, a member of the Rolex family. We need to improve but it's early to judge."
Asked if Rolex will be the partner of the ATP Cup that will be launched in January, he concluded: "Negotiations are ongoing. Now we are in a bit various world of tennis.
