Roger Federer, Nadal, Djokovic really make a difference - Andujar

Pablo Andujar used to play ATP tournaments on a consistent basis until a few years ago but he is now a lower ranked player and he headlines Challengers. Asked what's the biggest change in the transition, Andujar said: "At a mental level. You have to believe in it. The big difference is in the mind. You see all the players, and they really play all well. You see a player who does not have an ATP ranking point and it's good too. You have to know what the key moments in a match are and just handle with them. In the game, everyone is very good but Nadal, Djokovic, Federer, they really make big differences."

What's the key in the game plan when facing Nadal? "Being very aggressive, because otherwise, no one can beat him, maybe Djokovic. Being very smart, aggressive all the time and trying to go for the shots, shorten the rallies and thinking that you have nothing to lose."

Asked what suggestion he would give Andy Murray, Andujar replied: "He needs to be very patient and very willing to come back. Being a lot of time away is difficult. He is a very perseverant person. Hopefully, we see him on court soon."

Recalling his 2013 Madrid Open loss to Nadal, Andujar concluded: "Against rivals such as Rafa, and even playing at the level he played in the first set, I think it's really complicated.  I think then it makes you feel a little bit small, you know, because I felt that my ball was not harming him, that I was playing short and not hurting him", concluded the Spaniard in the chat", he concluded.
