CEO Silva announces addicting WTT season. Kyrgios will be there

The upcoming World Team Tennis season has a great lineup - with Kyrgios being one of the headliners -, two new teams and some innovative graphics to entertain the fans.

WTT’s new CEO Carlos Silva promoted this year’s upcoming season by sharing some novelties in an interview that took place on The Lucky Letcord podcast: “We added two new teams in Orlando and Vegas – Orlando Stormers and Vegas Rollers -, …great coaches and great teams.” Vegas Rollers features Sam Querrey, the Bryan Brothers, Opelka and Puig as the most prolific names of the team. On the other side, Orlando Stormers’ top-ranked player is Madison Keys.

WTT is going to be broadcasted on CBS, a notable achievement that can mean a lot especially to the less known players: “Tennis doesn't get on network television very often. On July 21st you're going to see a big match - Vegas Rollers against the Philadelphia Freedom. Names like Sam Querrey, Grigor Dimitrov, Danielle Collins, Monica Puig, The Bryan Brothers…  are going to be on that telecast. Almost feels like the quarters or semis of a major. For the players is important to get into the CBS.”, said Carlos. WTT is also going to have new “cool graphics” that will inform fans about the performance of the players.

Besides this, Silva shared why people should watch World Team Tennis and what to expect from this summer’s edition: “It makes it fun where you get to see these guys get excited, not only hitting great shots. You get to see them celebrate. A great example is Nick Kyrgios because he seems to have a great time all the time. He's maybe one of the most talented players and it's great to see some of his shots. Energy, great music, great entertainment, and great tennis, big serves, lots of great doubles that you don't always get to see."
