Marin Cilic gives credit to Diego Schwartzman after shock Queen's exit

Croatian tennis ace Marin Cilic gave credit to Argentina's Diego Schwartzman for the performance he put up at the Queen's Club on Thursday. 

Schwartzman, ranked at No. 23 in the world, shocked Queen's defending champion Cilic in the round-of-16. 

The 26-year-old claimed a 6-4 6-4 win over No. 5 seed Cilic to earn just his third grass-court win. 

Cilic served poorly as he gave Schwartzman eight break point in an 22 minutes of play. 

The Argentinian took advantage of Cilic's poor serving display as he broke the Croatian three times on his way to securing the win. 

"I was just not feeling that great on the serve to keep that pressure up on him. Generally I don’t feel that disappointed, I have to give credit to Diego, he played a great match. He played a really good match," Cilic said post-match, per Metro UK. 

Schwartzman blew an early first-set break but broke Cilic once again in the ninth game before serving out for the set in the following game. 

The 26-year-old then broke Cilic in the opening game of the second set and then held on to his serve to set up a quarterfinal meeting against Daniil Medvedev.
