Nicolas Mahut: Queen's Centre Court is one of best courts I've played on

French tennis veteran Nicolas Mahut dropped a big praise on the Queen's Centre Court on Thursday.

The 37-year-old put a classic grass-court performance to stun former world No. 3 Stan Wawrinka in the Queen's round-of-16. 

The Swiss appeared to he heading toward a comfortable straight-set win but the Frenchman came from a set down to win 3-6 7-5 7-6 (2).

Wawrinka broke Mahut in the fourth game of the match and then held on to his serve to win the opener. 

The Frenchman got his first break of the match in the key moments of the second set as he broke the Swiss in the 12th game to force a decider. 

Mahut then recovered from a 5-3 third-set deficit before he won the tie-break to complete a comeback on the centre court at the Queen's Club. 

“I feel so happy to play on this court. It’s one of the best courts I’ve ever played on," Mahut said post-match, per Fever-Tree Championships Twitter.

Mahut, a former world No. 37, plays next against fellow compatriot Gilles Simon.
