Director makes comparison between Tour de France winner and Federer-Nadal
The Tour de France Director Christian Prudhomme expected in some ways Colombia's Egan Bernal's triumph. "Like all the genius, he achieved it before others", he said. In the same time, Prudhomme expects an opponent to compete with Bernal. "I think it's like Federer who needs Nadal to create a rivalry that marks an era."

Meanwhile the former player Paul McNamee commented on Peter McNamara's death: "He had a backhand to die for", said McNamee. "If anything, it was more stylish than (Roger) Federer's. The last thing he wanted was for people to feel sorry for him. The best thing is that I know he went in peace."
