Roger Federer has an impressive recovery ability, says Arias

In an interview to SportFace, former player Jimmy Arias commented on Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic's dominance. The American said: "Something unbelievable and unrepeatable is happening in tennis history. Federer is almost 38 years old and he is still at the top, and I really ask myself how he can do it especially from the physical point of view. He has an impressive recovery ability, he is back to play much and well on clay and now he can win in Wimbledon. Novak Djokovic, at his best, is still unbeatable and the most devastating out of the three. On clay, Rafael Nadal keeps not having rivals like in the recent French Open. There will never be a dominance like this one."
On the next generation, Arias added: "There are many interesting players, who will have to take advantage of the generational change, but they will never repeat what was done over the last 15 years. Stefanos Tsitsipas plays well, but he needs to improve physically. Alexander Zverev seemed to have most chances but he is going through a bad time and that worries me because when he is under pressure, he shows mistakes on the second serve and forehand. Dominic Thiem is solid, but he is still not good enough to win a Major."
On the Italian tennis, Arias concluded: "Matteo Berrettini, Lorenzo Sonego and Lorenzo Musetti are doing so well because within two or three years there will be big chances as Djokovic, Federer and Nadal will retire. They have the right mentality and they are already winning major matches."
Federer and Djokovic will face each other for the 47th time on Sunday.
