Wimbledon final day recap: Djokovic still on the throne

2019 Wimbledon men's singles final made one thing clear; Novak Djokovic will try in every way to reach Roger Federer's records. The epic final (the longest ever) won by the world's no. 1 after five sets and nearly five hours of battle was decided by the super tie-break.

Nole has become a virus for Federer, who just can't find a proper cure (the Swiss lost the last four consecutive Slam finals against Nole, three of them at Wimbledon). The Colombians Robert Farah and Juan Sebastian Cabal defeated in the men's doubles final Nicolas Mahut and Roger Vasselin, while Su-Wei Hsieh and Barbora Strycova won the women's doubles against Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic.
