'Daniil Medvedev was better than Nick Kyrgios in Washington final'
Russia's Tennis Federation chief Shamil Tarpischev commented on Nick Kyrgios' straight-set win over Russia's Daniil Medvedev in Washington. Tarpischev said: "I can say that looking at statistics and key moments, Daniil was a bit better than Kyrgios. The only difference is that when it mattered the most, Kyrgios made a difference. The Australian felt the ball a bit better and one or two points made him have a turnaround. The game quality was good. The most important thing is that Daniil has room for improvements. Medvedev recalled this year's match with Kyrgios in Rome: "I was not ready.
