Nick Kyrgios blasts umpire, spits at him, breaks rackets - Video
Nick Kyrgios keeps being on the headlines. On Wednesday in Cincinnati during his three-set match loss against Karen Khachanov, the Australian asked to go to the toilet and along the way he broke a couple of rackets. At the end of the match, he slammed the umpire Fergus Murphy saying he is a 'fuc**** tool", did not shake his hand and also spits in his direction.
He also threw shoes to the crowd.
During the match, Kyrgios had complained: "Nobody calls the score as fast as you". Murphy replied: "It depends on the shot". Kyrgios added: "If Rafa plays that quick I’m retiring." He also got a code violation for swearing.
ATP will review the incident. Kyrgios may get a big fine and ban from the Tour. During this time of the year, in August four years ago, he had a controversy with the Swiss Stan Wawrinka during their match in Toronto. Donna Vekic was the topic.
Kyrgios made a big effort in Washington earlier this month, conquering the title. However, he is back to old routines. You can watch videos here below:
