Tatiana Golovin Says Goal is to Play the Fed Cup, French Open e Olympics

Tennis - Former World No. 12 Tatiana Golovin was beaten in the first round of the qualifying event in Luxembourg in her first match in over twelve years but the Frenchwoman says is looking forward to playing in more tournaments in the future.
Speaking to Le Parisien, Golovin commented, "I miss (the rhythm, explosiveness and support) almost everything but I was able to regain the will, the desire, the aggression. I felt good while I was very stressed about coming here on Friday. On the train, the heart and stomach were moving. I'm happy with this first game but there are many things that will have to improve. The goal is not to lose. If I take 3 and 1 and continue like this, I will not go far! In the short term, the goal is to win a match. In the long run, win many matches, play the Fed Cup, Roland Garros, play the Olympics ... "
Golovin says she is eager to play her next singles event in Poitiers in 10 days. "I want to play as many tournaments as I can. It was difficult at age 20 because it was not my decision to change my life. I never really accepted it. I did not want to have regrets. You had to try to take the risk of pain. I did not feel pain on the court. But the hard part is the next day ... "
Golovin was beaten by Kaja Juvan 3-6, 1-6 in the Luxembourg qualifying event. Golovin retired at the age of 20 due to problems with her back.
