Coco Gauff and Andy Roddick to be Part of Baha Mar Cup

Tennis - Rising American teen star Coco Gauff and former World No. 1 Andy Roddick will be part of the Baha Mar Cup at Baha Mar, as per Mark Knowles, the man behind the tournament and one of the top players of Bahamas.

Gauff and Roddick will be joined by Knowles, Tommy Haas and James Blake in the tournament, which takes place from November 7th to November 10th to benefit victims of Hurricane Dorian across the Abacos and Grand Bahama Islands.

The tournament will feature a Pro-Am event which will include professional tennis players from the past against fans and there would also be exhibition matches with celebrities. Other activities organized at the tournament will include a complimentary Youth Tennis Clinic for players between the ages of 7-16 years old, the Bahamas Futures Cup for boys and girls under the age of 18 years old, a pro-am and exhibition scheduled for Saturday November 9th featuring Gauff, Roddick, Haas, Blake, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, Bob Bryan and Knowles himself.

All proceeds from the events would be donated directly to those affected by Hurricane Dorian. Knowles is the man behind the tournament and is a former World No. 1 in doubles. He has won all the four Grand Slam titles during his career with partner Daniel Nestor and also won the 2009 Wimbledon mixed doubles with German Anna-Lena Gronefeld.

He has been ranked as high as No. 96 in the singles rankings and is currently married to Dawn Davidson and has three children. He also works with Tennis Channel as a commentator since 2013 and has been a coach to Milos Raonic and Jack Sock..
