Federer, Nadal, Djokovic will be at the top for many more years -Kafelnikov

The former world No. 1 Yevgeny Kafelnikov believes that the new generation is not at the same level as the older guys yet. The Russian said: "The younger players got closer step by step but anyways they are far away from the big three. There is still a void between them. Nadal, Djokovic and Federer will be at the top for many more years."

The Russian Federation chief Shamil Tarpischev said: "I think the loss to Jeremy Chardy in Paris was not that important. He had more time to prepare for the ATP Finals. He has a tough group but he can go through it. The first match against Stefanos Tsitsipas will be decisive."

The former player Igor Kunitsyn said: "Daniil made a big effort when he played in the United States, St. Petersburg and Shanghai. However, he almost did not play in October and he took his time to recover. So he has good chances to perform in London at the best of his abilities just like he did at the US Open and in the two Masters 1000s. Now he is not definitely weaker than his opponents and he can do big things in London."

Speaking to Sdna Tsitsipas said: "There are no easy matches. Every match is important here and every detail can make a difference. With Medvedev I played five times but I do not know how to cope with him yet. He plays big in the key moments. Facing him is always a challenge."

On Federer, the pundit Heinz Gunthardt said: "When he is on the court, he is totally relaxed. This combination is impossible: so relaxed and in the same time so ambitious. It's absolutely fascinating and unique. Federer has an unbelievable ambition, otherwise he would not play at this age at this level. That's what impresses me the most."
