Leave Jannik Sinner in peace, says Rafael Nadal's PR
In an interview to SuperTennis TV Rafael Nadal's PR Benito Perez Barbadillo spoke about several interesting topics at the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan. "An amazing tournament", admitted Barbadillo. "I had never come here. Lavazza brought me here, they have been making big investments on players too."
He shared an interesting opinion on Jannik Sinner: "He is a very good player. You should leave him a bit calm. Pressure and many expectations are never good. But he is a very promising guy, who achieved big things. The Italian tennis is in a great position and hopefully Jannik goes forward. He has the right people next to him, a great team."
Barbadillo finally spoke about Rafael Nadal potentially playing the ATP Finals in London if he is healthy: "Let's see if he is able to play, he had a little abdominal strain. The draw? It's always tough because there are the eight best guys. There are no easy players."
Sinner said: "I prepare like always. It's one more match which is still very important for me, because you can get very much confidence if you win tomorrow. And he is a completely different player, like this, too. He's lefty, so I'm happy I can play against him because he has a completely different ball. It's going to be a different situation. Yeah, as I said before, I would like to -- I just give my maximum tomorrow."
