Rafael Nadal is not a normal person, says former Roger Federer's coach

The former Roger Federer's coach Paul Annacone praised Rafael Nadal's fighting spirit for his win over Daniil Medvedev. Speaking on The Tennis Channel, the American said: "He is not a normal person. He plays every point like if it's the last point of his life and that's one thing that is so incredible and Medvedev, we saw a lot of the faces at the team, we saw the thumbs up, the satirical ironic smiles and those are all stressors. Jim Courier added: "You got to learn from this, it's a painful loss, there is no doubt about it. You have to learn from it. Stefanos Tsitsipas spoke about his two wins over Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev. The Greek had said: "It's very fulfilling and satisfying. It's a big relief when you go through so much pressure and so much will and trying to put yourself into a, like, nirvanic concentration mode. It's not as easy as people think it is. It's something that fulfills you when you are able to beat players like this and give your best, give your all. These wins mean more than others, and it's a good thing to have in your portfolio, let's say. It counts."
