Roger Federer: 'I hope to have more epic clashes against Rafael Nadal'
Roger Federer spoke about his rivalry with Rafael Nadal. The Swiss, who won six of the last seven he played against the Spaniard, said: "Each one represents a different view to look at the sport, we have opposite styles. He (Nadal) can have a bit slower and defensive gamestyle, I am more direct. Hopefully in the future we can keep facing each other and have epic clashes."
On Djokovic, Federer added: "What Novak has achieved over the last ten years has been impressive, he is one of the biggest players ever. He has amazing qualities just like Rafa. I do not know who is the toughest to face but I would say with Rafa there has been a rivalry for a longer time which makes it special. They are the guys who pushed me more to the limit."
Federer changes his game also facing the younger guys: "Every generation brings something new and I know I can learn, improve, that's what I do. I always try to improve. I hope to keep being there."
On his human side, Federer concluded: "At the end of the day I see myself as a normal guy, I am a happy person, very calm, that tries to enjoy and tries to have a normal life. When tournaments and trip end, I get back home and I see my family and friends, which makes me motivated and happy to keep competing."
