Davis Cup handed Serbia wild card because they want to have Djokovic - Eberhard

In an interview to TennisNet Klaus Eberhard spoke about the Davis Cup Finals in Madrid that will be played next year. Eberhard said: "Germany asked for a wild card. I think that Serbia would have taken one since they want have Djokovic again on the field. The second wild card could have gone to Austria because of Dominic Thiem. I do not know why they picked France. Now we have a home tie against Belarus. It's definitely nice that we play at home. And I hope Alexander Zverev will be there even if his schedule may make it complicated."

Eberhard watched the Davis Cup live. He criticized the format and scheduling. "First of all, it was unbelievable how matches were played. You cannot play three ties twice a day. The attendance was not that high either. Now it's a different tournament."

A club regular told Mail: “She’s really very good. She comes down and trains with her tennis coach with her security looming in the background. Sometimes they fetch her stray balls. Kate has been at Hurlingham a lot over the summer. She takes all the kids. There’s a gorgeous playground they all love, and George and Charlotte have tennis lessons.
