Everyone would like to coach Federer, Nadal and Djokovic - Davydenko

Nikolay Davydenko recently started coaching Karen Khachanov. Davydenko was asked in an interview to Eurosport three players he would pick if he could. "I do not know. Even if I am sure everyone would pick Federer, Djokovic, Nadal!"

Asked who is the younger guy with the bigger potential, Davydenko replied: "There are many young and promising players, it will be interesting. They have a powerful game. You can bring something to them."

Who has a higher potential between Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Khachanov? "Oh, I will not speak. I do not know. Each one has his own game style. Medvedev is consistent. He moves well, he doesn't miss, he is tall. Rublev is difficult to stop when he is playing well. Khachanov can improve. He is not 30 years old but just 23 and he still has several years ahead of him. In order to stay in the top ten rankings, you have to work hard. You need to mentally be safer."

Who will win Masters 1000 first? "Medvedev. He already won two, reached US Open final. I do not know if he is mentally ready. But he works with a psychologist, which can help him. But if he starts the following year on a bad note, then it will be very difficult."

Asked what makes the ATP Finals special, Davydenko concluded: "There were boats for the players, for coaches, guests. They do everything to make you feel comfortable. Those are perfect tournaments."
